Vinterland Studio is the private production workspace and mix room of Stein Tore Sønsteli, located in Lillehammer, Norway.
As Vinterland Studio is a private facility, visits are by appointment only.
Stein Tore and his collaborators enjoy working with artists, bands, filmmakers, and other creative professionals on projects where their knowledge, experience, and passion can make a meaningful contribution.
What we do
Music Production
Do you have an idea for a song, or perhaps you've created a demo and need help developing it into a complete production? We can assist in taking your music from concept to finished product, all the way to distributing the result on Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal and other relevant streaming platforms.
Stereo, Surround and
Immersive Mixing
We have been mixing in Surround for many years and were early adopters in exploring Dolby Atmos for Music, both technically and artistically. Our mix room is equipped with a 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos setup, calibrated according to Dolby's recommendations.
Recording
We have a small recording booth for recording vocals and acoustic instruments. For recordings that require larger facilities, we relocate ourselves and our microphone collection to ReelBeats Studio here in Lillehammer. ReelBeats Studio, owned by Magnus Beite, is a fully equipped tracking studio hosted in beautiful surroundings.
